Due to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing during City-assisted evacuation, it is possible that decisions will be made even further in advance of a storm's landfall. Pay attention during hurricane season and be ready to evacuate immediately if asked to do so.

Despite the rather complicated times that we are all going through, I am happy to announce that a new CAELinux version is ready for you to download. CAELinux 2020 is based on Xubuntu 18.04 and as usual it is customized to offer many open source simulation tools for stress analysis, thermal or fluid flow simulation and other physics but it also contain a full range of mathematical modeling, graphic, design, CAD / CAM, prototyping software which makes it ideal for running a Fablab or a MakerSpace using purely open-source tools.
10 pre-configured Simulated Clinical Experiences (SCEs) developed by clinical experts that come ready to operate, from skills validation to chronic heart failure exacerbation. An additional seven modules are available to provide consistent learning and allow easy integration of simulation into your nursing curricula
CAD definitions and model structure data in CATIA V4, CATIA V5, NX, Pro/ENGINEER and JT formats can be converted into ANSA files using the available translators. Moreover, custom interfaces to PDM or SDM systems, powered by scripting, bring product and model structure data into the heart of the software. CAD geometry can be also read in from neutral file formats (iges, step, vda-fs), manipulated and healed by the proprietary powerful built-in geometry engine. A wide range of geometry healing functions, including those for the generation of neutral fibers, deliver geometry descriptions ready to be meshed.
ANSA Data Management (ANSA DM) is a centralized data management system, used to collect and store in a structured and hierarchical form all engineering data that are used during the development process of a vehicle simulation model. It assures the effective and efficient data handling throughout projects, by streamlining updated model data to engineering teams, allowing the easy sharing of common data and offering access to library items for the analysis dependent solution settings. The DM Browser, moreover, allows the browsing of the DM Root to identify the available CAD versions, study versions and representations for comparison and model update.
The above, along with the user-friendly solution scenario definition leads to the output of a ready to solve model. Apart from the formats of the solvers for which complete preprocessing decks exist, i.e. NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, PAM-CRASH, RADIOSS, PERMAS, Abaqus/Standard, Abaqus/Explicit and ANSYS, numerous other file formats are supported, for structural, CFD as well as other solvers.
"This Mission Trainer allows operators to maintain mission systems proficiency in a realistic and secure environment," says Lenny Genna, vice president of Mission Systems for CAE Defense & Security. "Leveraging simulation means crews continue effective training while MQ-9B aircraft assets remain mission-ready for deployment."
Ahead of the holiday weekend and as summer break is officially here, the Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE hereafter) is sharing useful air travel tips to ensurepassengers are prepared and ready for their next flight.
The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) is continuing to refine and clarify the Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) as a fundamental reference resource that is agile, flexible, modular, and interoperable. As such, a review of the NICE Framework data - Competency Areas, Work Roles, and Task, Knowledge, and Skill (TKS) statements - is in progress and we are pleased to announce that the initial review of Knowledge and Skill statements is ready for your feedback!
As a result of these adjustments, the TKS building blocks are more measurable, meaningful, and useful. Please note that this process will be an iterative one, and the NICE Program Office will conduct a full review of the updated Knowledge and Skill statements and the refactored Ability statements (previously released for comment) as a whole following comment adjudication.
If a resource API implements CAE and your application declares it can handle CAE, your app will get CAE tokens for that resource. For this reason, if you declare your app CAE ready, your application must handle the CAE claim challenge for all resource APIs that accept Microsoft Identity access tokens. If you do not handle CAE responses in these API calls, your app could end up in a loop retrying an API call with a token that is still in the returned lifespan of the token but has been revoked due to CAE.
Once your application is ready to handle the claim challenge returned by a CAE enabled resource, you can tell Microsoft Identity your app is CAE ready. To do this in your MSAL application, build your Public Client using the Client Capabilities of "cp1".
Once your application is ready to handle the claim challenge returned by a CAE-enabled resource, you can tell Microsoft Identity your app is CAE-ready by adding a clientCapabilities property in the MSAL configuration.

Matereality, LLC, headquartered in Ithaca, NY USA, operates private and public cloud material databases for use in product design and manufacturing. Empowered by a suite of web-based software that allows users to work with material data for trend visualization, CAE material parameter conversion, and database building, these databases can store any properties of any materials. Matereality's ready-for-deployment, patented technology provides material databases and solutions for different needs, budgets and company sizes: a Personal Database for one user, a Workgroup Database for small groups, and Material Data Servers for manufacturing enterprises.
With this update, the SimScale web-based CAE platform is now as fast and interactive as a desktop application, while taking advantage of the unlimited computing power of the cloud. Furthermore, the new solution stack sets the stage for major new updates and features that are already in development and will be released in the coming months. 2ff7e9595c
